welcome! this is an independent rp blog for courtney whitmore from dc's stargirl. i take inspiration from the stargirl / jsa comics and the show created by geoff johns. following that, i am in no way affiliated with the comics/series nor the actress brec bassinger who portrays her. this is a mutuals only blog. what this means is that i’ll only write with those i follow back. things such as sending memes, reacting to starter calls, etc. are allowed only if we follow each other.

this blog is high activity. courtney is my main muse, so if i’m going to be on any blog it’ll be this one. although i’m active, i do have a life outside of roleplay. some days i don’t have the motivation to get online and other days i’m too busy. please keep this in mind when interacting with any of my blogs. for me roleplay is a hobby and i’ll be treating it as such. if we are mutuals then that is an open invitation for you to come and talk to me. whether it’s about writing or not doesn’t matter. i want to get to write with you! when it comes to memes, you can send them whenever you want! nothing makes me happier than to see messages in my inbox. if you want to turn them into thread i highly encourage it.

it’s not a priority for this blog, but shipping is more than welcome for those who are interested. i’m most comfortable seeing if our muses have chemistry first. if you want to shoot me a message to plot specific dynamics, etc. feel free to do so! although i write courtney in her late teens/early twenties. courtney is of age in her main verse, she is underaged in others. nsfw content is something that will never be presented on this blog.

hate of any kind is not allowed here! anything like racism, homophobia, etc. will not be tolerated and will be resolved with a hard block. this goes for rpc drama and constant vaguing as well. i will make sure to tag any possible triggers using trigger tw. personality;

courtney is an impossibly optimistic person, even from the time she was a little girl. she grew into a confident, capable, and rather snarky teenager. she was raised by her single mother and holds her in high regards, having strong morals and a clear sense of right and wrong. overall though, she is kind. though her conception of heroism is originally all about the action and fighting, she eventually comes to her senses and forms a more constructive view. she becomes genuinely committed to her new, growing understanding of being a superhero.

abilities in depth;

the cosmic staff offers the wielder powers including rapid flight, levitation of objects, manipulation of energy, creation of defensive force fields, and offensive energy blasts of incredible power. the cosmic converter belt gives the user the ability of flight, increased strength speed, and agility, the ability to create solid light objects, and the ability to fire stars that would blind opponents. it can also attune to the aura of the user.
